In 1996, Kingdom Foundation Institute (KFI) began without name in the home of Jonathan and Comfort Enders, then fulltime missionaries with the Great Commission Movement of Liberia (Cru International), to cater to their own 3 children pre-schooling while in refuge. The “school at home” continued after the Enders’ return home to Liberia in 1998.

In 2000 the school obtained its first operational permit and added one child. Through donations in cash and kind the school grew from Enders’ home in 2003 into two buildings made with oil palm straw and tarpaulins, serving a total of 114 children in two neighborhoods, and finally to the grand opening, graced by the presence of the President of Liberia, of the current permanent 18-classroom one-story building in August 2008.

The alumni population has also grown, staring with the first batch of 4 twelfth grade graduates in 2011 which included two of the Enders’ children. KFI welcomes the school community to its targeted trainings and teacher professional development for education quality assurance in the schools in Liberia.

The loving power of the triune God enlightens the human heart and mind. The Christian school is a nurturing environment for transforming hearts and minds thus developing excellent Christian character, with teacher as model. The Christian school curriculum grows leaders that serve the human society with hearts and minds in honor to God.

We are committed to delivering and creating community for transformative education grounded in Christian values, through excellent curricula, pedagogy, and training to foster a culture of excellence in our institution and beyond.

To be a leading Christian institution within the education community known for excellence in both nurturing and inspiring others to nurture generations of God-fearing leaders for the society.
